Cookie Policy
1. The short version
This website sets no cookies. Not analytics cookies, not advertising cookies, not preference cookies, and no strictly necessary ones either. There are no tracking pixels, no fingerprinting, no local storage and no session storage used to identify you.
That is why you were not shown a consent banner. There is nothing to consent to, and a banner asking permission to do nothing would be theatre.
This site is operated by BROKTRADING LTD, registration number HE 342927, registered office Orfeos Street 2B, Office 201, 1070 Nicosia, Cyprus, trading as BrokTechno. Questions go to info@broktechno.com.
2. What a cookie is, and why it matters that we have none
A cookie is a small file a website asks your browser to store, so that it can recognise your device on a later request. Similar technologies do the same job by other means: local storage, session storage, tracking pixels and device fingerprinting. Where this policy says “cookies” it means all of them.
Cookies are what allow a site to follow you between pages, between visits, and in the case of advertising networks, between different websites entirely. Because we set none, none of that happens here. We cannot tell whether you have visited before, we cannot recognise you on your next visit, and we do not build any profile of you.
3. What the site does do
| What happens | Detail |
|---|---|
| Server logs | Our hosting provider records each request: IP address, time, page requested, referring page, browser and device type. These are technical records kept to run and protect the site. They are not cookies, they are not tied to a profile, and they are deleted after 12 months. |
| One third-party request, for a typeface | The site loads its body typeface from an external font service. Serving that file necessarily tells the font provider your IP address, the page you are on, and your browser and operating system. It sets no cookie. No consent banner could prevent this request, because the page needs the file to display, which is why it is disclosed here instead. |
| The enquiry form | Sends what you type to us. It sets no cookie and stores nothing on your device. What we do with the contents is in the Privacy Policy. |
4. What the site does not do
- No analytics. No Google Analytics, and no cookieless analytics either. We do not measure page views, sessions, bounce rates or user journeys.
- No advertising or remarketing tags. Nothing on this site feeds an advertising platform, and you cannot be retargeted because of a visit here.
- No social media embeds or share buttons, which are a common route by which third-party cookies arrive on a site without anyone intending it.
- No chat widget, no heatmaps, no session recording.
- No consent management platform, since there is no consent to manage. Consent platforms usually set cookies of their own.
5. What would make this document false
This policy is a statement of fact about a specific build of the site, not a general promise. Each of the following would break it on the day it is added, and each requires this document to be rewritten, and in most cases a consent banner to be built, before the change goes live:
- An anti-spam service on the enquiry form. This is the most likely one to catch us out. Google reCAPTCHA sets cookies and is the obvious choice for a contact form, so it would immediately contradict section 1. If the form needs protection, use a method that stores nothing on the visitor’s device, such as a server-side honeypot field, rate limiting by IP, or a challenge service that documents itself as cookieless.
- Any analytics or tag manager, including self-hosted.
- An embedded video, map, calendar booking widget or social feed.
- A chat widget or support tool.
- A CDN or bot-protection layer configured to set a clearance or challenge cookie.
- Any feature that remembers a setting between visits, such as a language or theme preference.
6. Controlling cookies generally
You do not need to do anything on this site, since there is nothing to remove or refuse. For completeness: every mainstream browser lets you block or delete cookies under its privacy settings, and doing so will not affect this site in any way.
We do not respond to browser Do Not Track or Global Privacy Control signals, because there is no tracking here for them to switch off.
7. Changes to this policy
If the site ever sets a cookie, this document is rewritten before that happens, not after, and the version number and date under the title are updated.
